Meet The Doctor

Dr. Patrick Knighton

Optometric Physician

Co-Owner Knight Vision Northwest

Raised in a military family, Dr. Patrick D. Knighton Jr. grew up in various locations in the east coast of the United States but spent his formative years in northern Connecticut. Dr. Knighton received a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry at Andrews University in Southwestern Michigan in 2015.

 

After spending a year pursuing a masters in Biological Science through Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Knighton decided that optometry aligned more with his career goals. Dr. Knighton completed his Doctorate of Optometry through Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in June of 2021.

Dr. Knighton has a passion for healthcare literacy and decreasing healthcare disparities in under served populations. Multilingual speaking English and Spanish, Dr. Knighton has been educated to conduct eye examinations in both English & Spanish. 

​

Dr. Knighton has wide range of interests including, Taekwondo (Blue Belt and Counting), Aviation, Carpentry, Mechanics, and guitar. However, his most treasured time is spent with his wife and co-owner Cynthia Knighton.
